Strength & Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning

Midland University’s Strength and Conditioning major prepares students for possible careers as certified personal trainers or strength coaches. This concentration also prepares students for postgraduate study in strength and conditioning. Students will complete their Certified Personal Trainer Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT) and Functional Movement Screen Certification (FMS) by the end of their junior year. By the final semester of their senior year, students will complete their Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS).

Midland University’s Strength and Conditioning major prepares students with the tools to succeed in a wide range of careers. Some career opportunities include:

  • Exercise Physiologist
  • Personal Trainer
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach
