Other Opportunities

  • Connect with our Ambassadors: Follow us on social media: @midlanduambassadors on Instagram and @midlanduamb on TikTok. Our Student Ambassadors give helpful and fun insight into life as a Warrior! You can always reach out to us on social media to ask questions you might have. Feel free to set up a time to chat with a Student Ambassador clicking on the Additional Support tab and choosing a date on the Connect With Current Students left side menu.
  • Visit Campus: If you haven’t already, come get a sneak peek of where you’ll be spending your college days. We have both in-person and virtual visit options! By visiting our campus either in-person or virtually, you are guaranteed a $2,000 Campus Visit Grant which will be an additional $500 per year in institutional aid. We’d also recommend you check out other college campuses to see and experience all your options. Visiting campus is one of the best ways to learn more and feel confident in your college decision!
  • Receive your $1,000 Warrior Grant: Every student who submits their ACT/SAT score to Midland will receive a $1,000 Warrior Grant which will be an additional $250 of aid on top of your official scholarship. With that being said, please take the ACT/SAT, if you haven’t already, and have your scores sent to Midland University. Our ACT code is 2462 and SAT code is 6406. If you have taken the ACT, please send documentation of your highest test score to your Admissions Counselor or upload it to your application through the portal so you receive this grant!
  • Apply for Outside Scholarships: Scholarship dollars are calling your name! Be sure to apply for as many outside scholarships as possible for the chance to receive additional funding to help pay for your college investment. Here are some scholarship resources we have put together for you. Seriously – take the time to apply for scholarships. You will not regret it!
  • Explore our Majors: Whether you know exactly what you want your career and academic path to look like or you’re not sure what you want to major in, Midland offers educational experiences tailored to your interests and goals. Check out program highlights and career opportunities for each major we offer!
  • File your FAFSA: Incoming students are encouraged to file their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as part of their admissions process which allows the Midland University Financial Aid team the opportunity to maximize aid eligibility. As you complete the FAFSA, be sure to indicate Midland as a recipient of your information. Our FAFSA code is: 002553. If you are not planning to file the FAFSA, please inform your Admissions Counselor.

  • Encourage your student to stay in touch with their Admissions Counselor. Our Admissions Team is committed to offering individualized support as your student throughout the Admissions process. Understanding that the road to college can be intimidating and filled with tasks, and your student’s Admissions Counselor is a valuable resource for support along the way.
  • Remind your student to check their Admissions Portal for updates. The portal includes important checklists and information to help guide your student through the admissions process.
