Homecoming 2025 Highlights

Homecoming 2025 was filled with Warrior pride as alumni and students came together to celebrate and honor lasting traditions.

• Students participated in a variety of activities throughout the week, including a coffee bus, an escape room challenge, a business partner scavenger hunt, a Res Life grill-out, Pancakes with Student Life, and the Homecoming Coronation.
• Members of the Class of 1975 returned to campus to celebrate their 50-year class reunion. Alums enjoyed a breakfast open house, an alumni speaker panel and lunch, a campus tour, a social celebration in town, a football tailgate, and a reunion breakfast.
• Over 70 alumni gathered for an all-class reunion social at Five-0-Five Brewery with live music provided by Asst. Business Professor Dr. Jenny Murnane-Rainey and “Double Treble.”
• More than 400 alumni and friends attended the homecoming football tailgate.
• Senior Leadership and Academic Deans shared breakfast and an open house with alumni.
• Four alumni representing each of the academic colleges sat on an alumni speaker panel to share their Midland experience, career since, and answered questions from faculty, staff, alumni, and students.
• Former players, coaches, and cheerleaders from the Watchorn football era returned to enjoy the football tailgate, game, and social gathering on campus.
• More than 20 volleyball alumni gathered for alumni night vs. Dakota Wesleyan.
• Players, coaches, and staff of the 1994 Warrior Football Team were inducted into the Warrior Hall of Fame on Friday, September 26th. Shandon Reitzell ‘25 was honored with the male athlete of the year (Petrow Award), while Lagi Marina AhSang ‘25 was honored with the female athlete of the year (Bracker Award).
• Kia Abdool ‘09 (Outstanding Young Alum), Russ Gronewold ‘84 (Alumni Achievement), and the Johnson/Bartek/Langemeier/Osborne Family (Distinguished Family) were honored at the Alumni & Legacy Banquet on Sunday, September 28th.
• Members from the Victory Society, Lifetime Society, and President’s Society were honored at the Alumni & Legacy Banquet on Sunday, September 28th.
• Alumni and friends gathered for a homecoming worship on Sunday, September 28th at Sinai Lutheran Church where they heard a performance by the Midland Choir.
