Nursing accreditation


The curriculum for the nursing major is designed to produce a Midland University School of Nursing graduate who demonstrates competencies consistent with NLN, AACN, QSEN and IOM recommendations for nursing education.

Graduates of the Midland University School of Nursing program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) as required for state licensure as a registered nurse. They are prepared with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) qualifying them for excellent placement in nursing positions throughout the health care system. Nursing graduates are well prepared to advance their education in master’s and doctorate programs of nursing and other related health care fields.
