Midland University has partnered with Nebraska Synod, ELCA to create a new Church Administration Enhancement Program. Participants in the Church Administration Enhancement Program will be equipped to help forge new strategic visions for congregational mission, deal more effectively with financial issues and budget planning, make better use of informational technology, understand the power of marketing in their outreach programs, handle human resource problems, improve governance and committee structures, and understand better the organizational cultures in which they operate. This certificate-granting program will be held once a month on Saturdays for 3 months. Dates for the spring session are February 8, March 8, and May 3 on the Midland University campus in Fremont or February 22, March 22, and May 10 at a west/central Nebraska location to be determined. The west/central Nebraska site will be chosen based on proximity to those registered. Each session will run from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Preference is for at least two persons (one clergy and one layperson to attend each session). Fees: Maximum of $200 per church per session, or maximum of $600 per church for the entire program. Participants can choose to register for individual sessions or the entire program. Registration and course information can be found at
