Midland’s Business Intelligence & Technology (BIT) major provides students with the opportunity to learn about using technology that can move business forward.

BIT majors will learn about programming, customer service, networking, cybersecurity, and technology’s role in the business workplace to understand its vital role in the bigger picture.

Students in this major go into jobs as Business Analysts, Help Desk Technicians, Programmers, and more.

Program Highlights

  • Learn to code using an object-oriented programming language in your first year.
  • Experience a help desk and understand customer communication strategies and techniques while also learning about the technical aspects of customer support. 
  • Complete an internship to help students dive into a given part of the industry.
