Program Outcomes

Within this SPC Program, the student will learn through practical application. Our faculty will facilitate your progress as you advance and grow your expertise within this field. In addition to improving your understanding of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and designing effective programs, you will apply these concepts with your current team or with prospective clientele (i.e. private training, youth, master’s athletes, etc.). This certificate will not only provide your team or client with the ability to meet their goals but will enable them to reach new feats that seemed impossible or unrealistic.

Strength & Performance Coaching Graduate Certificate students will be prepared to:

  • Integrate emerging sports performance evidence with effective coaching language to unlock high-performance potential.
  • Design and implement a developmentally appropriate, evidence-informed strength and conditioning program.
  • Formulate strategies to inform and improve the efficacy of a strength and performance program.
