University celebrates 2012 Bits of Flint artistic journal

Dec 3rd , 2012

Midland University has published the 53rd edition of Bits of Flint. The campus literary journal, made up of poems, fiction, short stories and artwork by Midland students, displays the talents of undergraduates from various backgrounds.

Last Thursday, students, faculty and staff celebrated the longstanding booklet by reading pieces from the 2012 edition of Bits of Flint. All in all, approximately 30 members of the Midland community attended the event in Midland’s PDR conference center. This year’s journal consists of works from over 20 contributing Midland students.

Copies of this year’s publication can be purchased from Dr. Henry Krusiewicz, Professor of English, for $2 apiece. Those interested in contributing to next year’s publication are encouraged to contact Professor Krusiewicz at krusiewicz@midlandu.edu
