Temporary Accommodations
Periodically a student will sustain an injury that qualifies them for “temporary accommodations.” Examples include concussions, injuries from a car or other accident, surgery, having a baby, and extended illness. These accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis in partnership with the student’s healthcare provider.
When a student needs temporary accommodations, the Student Accommodations Specialist will contact faculty via email with the accommodation details and the amount of time the accommodations are approved for.
This video provides more details about temporary accommodations.
