Midland plans to hold Interterm classes online

Dec 3rd , 2020

Midland University has made the decision to hold classes virtually during Interterm from January 4th-22nd, 2021. Classes will not be held in-person until the beginning of the spring semester on January 28th, 2021.

“After much discussion, we believe this is the best decision for our campus as we work to provide a safe environment for our students,” Merritt Nelson, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing, said. “We have been in constant contact with local leaders and health departments and believe this is the best course of action in our continuing efforts to keep our community safe.”

Nelson added that faculty and staff members will continue working to formulate a plan to allow for a safe return to campus for students on January 28th and will communicate that plan to students on an individual basis.

“Our top priority has been, and will continue to be, the health and well-being of our students,” Nelson said. “We will continue to examine and explore every possibility to help ensure a safe campus.”
