Join us for the Midland University Dance Shake It Up Clinic for children in grades K-6!



Schedule of Events

8:30 – 9:00 a.m. | Check-in at Wikert Event Center on Midland University’s Campus (900 N. Clarkson, Fremont)
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Learn Clinic Material (snack provided)
12:00 – 2:00 p.m. |  BREAK – Pick up your dancers from 12:00 – 12:15 p.m. at the Wikert Event Center. 
1:45 – 2:00 p.m. | Game Check-in at Wikert Event Center! Bring your dancer back for the performance wearing their event t-shirt/performance attire! 
2:00 p.m.
 | Game Time! Dancers will stand with the MU dancers in the stands until half-time. Once the dancers are dropped off at game check-in, they will be under our care until after half-time.

Parents will pick their dancers up immediately after the performance in the Event Center lobby.

The registration fee is $40 and includes a T-shirt, snacks, pom poms, and two game-day tickets. The registration fee must be paid online. Cash/check will not be accepted at the door.

Register by January 3rd to guarantee your child a t-shirt and poms! Late registration will remain open until the event on January 20th.

Midland University Dance Shake It Up Clinic FAQs
How many game tickets will be given out?

Each participant will receive two complimentary tickets to the game and all dancers will enter for free. Additional tickets can be purchased at the gate or online at https://www.midlandathletics.com/tickets.

Should dancers bring snacks to the clinic?

It is recommended that dancers bring some snacks. There will be some snacks provided during the clinic, but no meals.

What will the dancers be learning?

Each dancer will learn a portion of the half-time routine that they will learn in groups separated by grade, as well as dance technique, showmanship, and game cheers!

What should dancers wear to the clinic?

Comfortable dance clothes! Wear whatever makes you feel confident and is comfortable to dance in. Clean sneakers or jazz shoes are both acceptable.

Can we pay the registration fee at the door?

Payment must be made to complete online registration prior to the event. Walk-ins will be accepted, but we cannot guarantee a shirt/poms for the participant.
