Dr. Henry Krusiewicz
Dr. Henry Krusiewicz, Professor of English for the Luther College of Arts and Sciences, is one of the creators of the Honors Program and has served it actively for the past five years. One of his goals is to offer students experiences beyond campus such as crane viewing, the Nobel Conference, or theatrical and dance productions in Omaha. Dr. Krusiewicz is a poet, fiction writer, and literary critic. His passion, however, is fishing–catch and release with barbless hooks.
DIANA MOXNESS
Diana Moxness, Associate Professor for the School of Nursing, has served on the Honors Program Committee since the program’s inception in Fall 2016. When asked what she enjoys the most about the Honors Program, she states “I really enjoy working with this unique and engaging campus student population. Their intellectual curiosity is a delight to witness!” A fun fact about Professor Moxness is that her husband, Jon, is also a full-time professor at Midland in the field of Accounting. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and playing Scrabble!
DR. COURTNEY WILDER
Dr. Courtney Wilder is Professor in the Philosophy and Religion Department at Midland University. Her teaching and research interests include Lutheran theology, Christianity and popular culture, and theology of disability. She lives in Omaha with her partner, two children, two cats, and an unknown number of bees living in a garden hive. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing.
