Ceramics

Students may pursue a ceramics concentration under the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.  The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree requires the student to choose an area of intensive studio practice, such as ceramics. The ceramics concentration offers students the opportunity to explore clay as a material for creating both sculptural and functional works of art. This degree is traditionally pursued by those students who wish to become professional ceramic artists or post-secondary art teachers. The BFA is considered the appropriate preparation for those wishing to pursue a Masters of Fine Arts.
