As licensed professionals, Registered Nurses will earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Midland University by completing 24-48 semester hours of nursing credits and college humanities/pre-requisite credits to meet university degree requirements. Transfer credit will be applied to the 120-credit graduation requirement. Credit may be awarded for knowledge gained during work experience and validated by competency evaluation or portfolio review. Requirements not met by transfer credits, nursing core credits, or validation will be determined upon review of the student’s transcript. Students will meet with an advisor during the admission process to identify additional coursework to be included in the program of study.
Online nursing courses will be offered in six- to eight-week course sessions. Four eight-week courses will be offered during spring and fall academic semesters. Two six-week courses will be offered during the summer. Students are recommended to take up to two courses per session.
