At Midland University, you can major in Human Performance with a concentration in Athletic Training. The Midland University Athletic Training concentration prepares students for graduate studies and careers in sports medicine. The concentration is heavily field-based to provide students hands-on experiences with certified trainers, athletic teams, coaches, physicians and therapists. Students may pursue a ceramics concentration under the Bachelor of Fine Art degree. The Bachelor of Fine Art (B.F.A.) degree requires the student to choose an area of intensive studio practice, such as ceramics.
The Midland Criminal Justice Major is designed to prepare students for professional careers in the field of law enforcement and criminal justice. At Midland, we recognizes the importance of applying a liberal arts education, with its holistic approach and emphasis on problem solving and communication skills, to prepare students for entry level positions in criminal justice agencies like probation and parole, corrections, juvenile diversion and law enforcement.

Teacher Education has been an integral part of Midland University since its founding. Teacher Education faculty work in partnership with the campus community and area public and private schools to provide students with academic coursework and field-based experiences in elementary, early childhood, special education, and secondary settings. The undergraduate program offers the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in education.
