Midland University is seeking comments from the public about the university in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The university will host a visit November 9-10, 2015, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. Midland University has been accredited by the commission since 1963. The team will review the institution’s continued compliance with the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.

Individual programs are accredited by the Nebraska State Board of Nursing, the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, and the Nebraska State Department of Education. Documentation of accreditation may be viewed upon request in the Office of the President.
