Midland University Baseball has a longstanding tradition of excellence on the diamond. Last year’s team appeared in the GPAC Conference Postseason Championship and reached the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.

Midland University Cheer won the inaugural GPAC Conference Cheer and Dance Invitational this season. Midland is one of just two colleges in Nebraska that offers collegiate stunt cheer, and the only university that gives out substantial men's and women’s cheerleading scholarships.

Coed Dance

Midland University Dance was named the 2013 NDA Collegiate National Champion in the NAIA Small Dance Division. The program tops the nation after just its third year as a varsity sport. Midland University offers significant men's and women’s dance scholarship opportunities for student-athletes who want to experience competitive collegiate dance.

Midland University Football is committed to excellence both on and off the field. Warrior Football is heading into the second season at the recently renovated Heedum Field. In addition to the recent stadium renovations the Warrior Football program has furthered its reputation with thirteen All-GPAC selections and seven players being named Daktronics NAIA scholar athletes in 2014.


Men's Basketball

Midland University Men’s Basketball is coming off the greatest season in the program’s history. After landing an institutional-record 30 wins, the Warriors finished the year as the 2014 NAIA National Runners-up.

Midland University Men’s Bowling was added in 2010 and is quickly becoming a staple on the national stage. The Warriors have reached the all-encompassing United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Championships every year since the program’s inception, and Midland is pleased to offers significant men’s bowling scholarships.

Midland University Men’s Cross Country has been a part of our school for more than 50 years. Runners at Midland travel the country to take on the region's top courses. We have plenty of men’s cross country scholarships available for student-athletes who love to run.

Men's Golf

Midland University Men’s Golf is a rising force within the GPAC Conference. The Warriors earned a first place finish in this fall’s first GPAC Qualifier. Our student-athletes travel to compete at the region’s top courses, and there are significant men’s golf scholarships at Midland.

Men's Ice Hockey

Midland University Men’s Ice Hockey had its inaugural season in 2014-15. During their first year on the ice, the Warriors won 10 games, and have already exceeded that total just a third of the way into their 2015-16 campaign. The Warriors play to capacity crowds comprised of students, faculty and community members at Fremont’s Sidner Ice Arena.

Men's Shotgun Sports

Midland University Men’s Shotgun Sports was added at Midland University in 2013. At Midland, student-athletes receive men’s shotgun sports scholarships to train and compete under four-time Olympian and former U.S. Olympic Shooting Sports Coach Bret Erickson. The program specializes in trap and competes in sporting clays, skeet, and five stand.

Men's Soccer

Midland University Men's Soccer finished last season with an appearence in the GPAC Postseason Championship Final. The Warriors had a record-breaking season in 2013 and appeared in the NAIA National Tournament. With a program-best 18 wins in 2013, the Warriors continue to be amongst the top contenders in the GPAC.

Midland University Men’s Tennis competes and practices at the nation’s second largest YMCA in Fremont, Nebraska. There are significant men’s tennis scholarships available at Midland University for students looking to play collegiate tennis.
