Midland University Women’s Wrestling was added as a varsity sport in 2011. Warrior Women’s Wrestling is coming off a top ten finish at the Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association’s National Championships. There are significant women’s wrestling scholarships for student-athletes interested in collegiate women’s wrestling.

Midland University Women’s Track and Field competes in the NAIA’s Great Plains Athletic Conference. Warrior Track and Field athletes compete in some of the region’s top meets, and there are substantial track and field scholarships for student-athletes interested in collegiate track and field.

Midland University Women’s Soccer has reached the GPAC Conference Postseason Tournament’s Semifinal Match in each of the last three seasons. With winning records in seven of the last eight seasons, Midland Women’s Soccer is known as a consistent GPAC contender. And there are significant women’s soccer scholarships available for student-athletes looking to play collegiate women’s soccer.

Women's Shotgun Sports
Midland University Women’s Shotgun Sports was added at Midland University in 2013. At Midland, student-athletes receive women’s shotgun sports scholarships to train and compete under four-time Olympian and former U.S. Olympic Shooting Sports Coach Bret Erickson. The program specializes in trap and competes in sporting clays, skeet, and five stand.

Midland University Women’s Lacrosse was added as a varsity sport in 2011. Members of the National Women’s Lacrosse League, the Warriors travel the country to compete against the nation’s top teams. Midland offers significant scholarships for women’s lacrosse athletes who want to play collegiate women’s lacrosse.

Women's Ice Hockey
Midland University Women’s Ice Hockey is a brand new program. The Warriors will take the ice at Fremont’s Sidner Arena for the first time in 2014. There are big women’s ice hockey scholarships available for student athletes interested in playing college hockey at Midland University.

Midland University Cheer won the inaugural GPAC Conference Cheer and Dance Invitational this season. Midland is one of just two colleges in Nebraska that offers collegiate stunt cheer, and the only university that gives out substantial women’s cheerleading scholarships.

Midland University Women’s Bowling was added in 2010, and has quickly become well known on the national stage. The Warriors finished as the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship National Runners-up in 2012.
